Carambola

Due to its shape, the carambola is also called starfruit. It has a yellowy to green colour and a shiny skin. The flesh may contain small, edible seeds. It is juicy with a tart to sweet-sour flavour. The carambola is mainly used as a garnish thanks to its wonderful, star-like appearance.
